As the official non-profit partner of Rocky Mountain National Park, The Rocky Mountain Conservancy offers custom and regularly scheduled educational adventures and bus tours, provided by fun and professional naturalist guides, through the RMC Field Institute Program. Topics that we provide classes on include: backpacking, hiking, birding, photography, wildflowers, wildlife, geology, history, astronomy, and more! offers two great locations. National Park Gateway Stables, located on highway 34 at the north entrance to RMNP, offers beautiful rides thru meadows and along rivers in RMNP (from 2 hours, to half-day and all-day destinations). Cowpoke Corner Corral is located on Hwy 66 at Glacier Lodge. Nestled at the base of Giant Track Mountain, scenic horseback rides go up the mountain and into Roosevelt National Forest (from 1 hour to 4 hours in length). The longer the ride, the better the overlooks and vistas you’ll have of the Continental Divide and surrounding areas. Reservations are recommended for both locations.
